Srinagar, Feb 28 (JKNS): The Director General of Police, J&K, Nalin Prabhat (IPS), on Saturday inaugurated three newly constructed buildings at Police Station Gulmarg, aimed at improving accommodation, operational efficiency, and welfare facilities for police personnel.

The new buildings were the SHO Residence Block, Mess and Barracks Block, and Transit Accommodation Block, as per news agency JKNS.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by senior officers including Spl DGP Coordination J&K Sh S.J.M. Gillani (IPS), IGP Kashmir Sh Vidhi Kumar Birdi (IPS), DIG Central Kashmir Range Srinagar, DIG North Kashmir Range Baramulla, and SSP Baramulla.
While addressing the officers and personnel, the DGP emphasized the importance of strengthening infrastructure and welfare measures for police personnel to enhance operational efficiency and morale. He appreciated the efforts made in completing the projects and reiterated the commitment of J&K Police towards modernization of police establishments across the Union Territory.
The newly inaugurated facilities will significantly improve residential and transit accommodation arrangements for police personnel posted at PS Gulmarg. (JKNS)
