Sopore, Mar 13 (JKNS): In a proud moment for Sopore, 24-year-old Faizan-ul-Haq from Rehmatabad Hardushiva has secured the 30th rank in the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS) examination in his very first attempt, the results of which were declared by the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) on Friday.
Details available with news agency JKNS, Faizan-ul-Haq, son of Dilshad Ahmad Lone, completed his graduation from Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi. He later pursued a Master’s degree in Geography from the same university and also qualified the UGC-NET and JRF examinations.
Locals said that Faizan has become the second candidate from Hardushiva to achieve success in the JKAS examination in recent years. Earlier in 2021, Syed Aabid Shah from Rashidabad Zaingair had also qualified the prestigious examination.
Meanwhile, the JKPSC on Friday evening declared the results of the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2024, with 90 candidates shortlisted for the medical examination stage. (JKNS)
