Police ASI Injured During Naka Duty After Being Hit by Smart City Bus in Srinagar

Srinagar, Mar 14 (JKNS): A police officer was injured after being hit by a Smart City bus during naka checking duty near Radio Kashmir in Srinagar on Saturday.

Official sources told news agency JKNS that the injured officer has been identified as Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Ali Mohammad (ARP No. 891387), who is posted at Police Station Kothibagh.

They said the ASI was performing naka duty near the Radio Kashmir area when a Smart City bus struck him, resulting in injuries. He was immediately shifted to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for treatment.

Cognizance of the incident has been taken. (JKNS)
