Jammu, Mar 16 (JKNS): Two persons lost their lives and nearly 20 others were injured after a passenger bus collided with a Scorpio vehicle and overturned near Kot Garhi village in Akhnoor area of Jammu on Monday, officials said.
Officials told news agency Kashmir News Service — JKNS that the bus, which was on its way from Jourian to Akhnoor, reportedly rammed into the Scorpio before losing control and overturning on the road.
In the mishap, two persons died on the spot while around 20 passengers sustained injuries.
The injured were shifted to nearby hospitals for treatment, officials said.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident and started further investigation. (JKNS)
