Srinagar, Mar 24 (JKNS): Member Legislative Assembly Hazratbal Salman Ali Sagar on Tuesday inaugurated the augmentation of a water supply scheme for Wangund (Tailbal) and its adjoining areas in Srinagar.
As per news agency JKNS, the MLA was accompanied by senior officials of the Public Health Engineering (PHE) Department, including the Chief Engineer and Superintending Engineer, during the inauguration.
Speaking on the occasion, Salman Ali Sagar said that ensuring clean and reliable drinking water to residents of Wangund, Dangerpora, Khawaja Bagh, and Astaanpora remains a key priority aimed at improving the quality of life in these areas.
He stressed the need for timely completion and proper maintenance of such projects to meet the growing water demands of the local population. (JKNS)
