Sopore, Mar 25 (JKNS): SSP Sopore Iftkhar Talib–JKPS on Wednesday held a debriefing and interaction session at the Conference Hall, SOG Sopore, with a batch of 20 Probationary Sub-Inspectors (PSIs) on completion of their nine-month on-job training in Police District Sopore.
The session marked the culmination of their first phase of district attachment, during which the trainees were exposed to practical aspects of policing, including law & order duties, investigation, public grievance redressal and operational challenges. Senior officers of Sopore Police were also present on the occasion.
Interacting with the trainees, SSP Sopore highlighted that policing goes beyond procedures and laws and requires sound judgement, responsibility and above all, integrity. He emphasised the importance of maintaining discipline, professionalism and public trust while discharging duties.
Appreciating their dedication and eagerness to learn, SSP expressed confidence in their ability to serve as capable officers in the future. He advised them to remain grounded, continue learning and take care of their subordinates while upholding the dignity of the uniform.
The trainees were wished success in their future postings, with the hope that the experience gained during their tenure in Sopore would guide them in their policing careers. (JKNS)
