Srinagar, Mar 26 (JKNS): Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday thanked the Central Government for sanctioning ₹5,000 crore as Additional Central Assistance to Jammu and Kashmir.
In a post on X, Office of J&K CM, as per news agency JKNS, said the Chief Minister conveyed his appreciation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for the financial package.
He said the assistance will play a vital role in boosting developmental activities, expediting key infrastructure works and improving overall public welfare across the Union Territory. (JKNS)
