Srinagar, Mar 26 (JKNS): Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Thursday conveyed his appreciation to the Central Government for extending additional financial assistance to Jammu and Kashmir.
In a post on X, Office of J&K LG, as per news agency JKNS, said the Lieutenant Governor thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for sanctioning ₹5,000 crore for the Union Territory.
He said the assistance will play a crucial role in improving and stabilising the fiscal health of Jammu and Kashmir. (JKNS)
