Baramulla, Mar 29 (JKNS): Adbi Markaz Kamraz (AMK) J&K has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the demise of Mohammad Sultan War of Kupwara, a noted social figure and father of Zahoor Sultan, Assistant Cultural Officer at the J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, and senior journalist Yahya Sultan.
In a condolence message, as per news agency JKNS, AMK President Mohammad Amin Bhat described the deceased as a dignified, sincere and socially committed individual who remained at the forefront of community service throughout his life. He said the demise of Mohammad Sultan War has created a void that will be difficult to fill, adding that his contributions to society and welfare will always be remembered.
On the occasion, Patron of AMK, Dr Rafiq Masoodi, also expressed deep sorrow, stating that the deceased was a noble soul, widely respected for his patience, integrity and commitment to public service. He termed the demise a significant loss to both social and literary circles.
All office bearers and members of Adbi Markaz Kamraz prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and requested Almighty Allah to grant him the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous. They also extended heartfelt condolences and solidarity to the bereaved family, especially Zahoor Sultan and Yahya Sultan, and prayed for strength and patience for them to bear this irreparable loss.
