Srinagar, Mar 29 (JKNS): Union Minister of Civil Aviation Shri Rammohan Naidu Kinjarapu on Sunday virtually inaugurated enhanced passenger-centric facilities at airports across India, including significant upgrades at Srinagar Airport.
An officialsl from Srinagar Airport told news agency JKNS, extended terminal area at Srinagar Airport now includes an additional ~650 sqm in the Security Hold Area, designed to ease congestion and improve passenger comfort.
The Minister also launched key facilities such as seamless DigiYatra services, free Wi-Fi for up to four hours, and the Flybrary initiative, providing travelers with an enriched reading experience.
These initiatives form part of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Airports Authority of India’s ongoing efforts to modernize airport infrastructure and enhance the overall passenger journey. (JKNS)
