Jammu, Mar 30 (JKNS): Congress MLA Nizam Uddin Bhat on Monday said that matters related to national security are best handled by India’s own agencies, asserting confidence in their capabilities.
Speaking to reporters, Bhat, as per news agency JKNS, said, “These are security-related issues. India’s security agencies take care of these matters. They do not need anyone’s advice. We trust our own security agencies.”
Commenting on reports regarding Pakistan’s role in mediating in the West Asia conflict, he termed it a broader global issue and stressed the need for peace.
“These are larger issues. We want the war to stop; it does not matter who is negotiating. Innocent lives and properties are being lost,” he added. (JKNS)
