Woman Killed, One Injured After Vehicle Falls into Nala in Uri

Baramulla, Apr 5 (JKNS): A road traffic accident was reported at Syedpora area of Uri in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Sunday, officials said.

An official told news agency JKNS that a vehicle bearing registration number JK09C-1649 skidded off the road and fell into a deep nala.

In the incident, a female passenger died on the spot, while another individual sustained injuries and was shifted to a nearby medical facility for treatment.

 

Cognizance of the incident has been taken and further investigation initiated. (JKNS)
