Empowering Young Minds: Indian Army Launches Digital Learning Hub at Kaman Post

URI, J&K (JKNS)— The Indian Army, in collaboration with the Gajanan Foundation, inaugurated the Kaman Learning Center, a computer lab established at Kaman Post to enhance digital education for local school children. The initiative reflects a commitment to improving access to technology and learning resources in border areas.

The center was inaugurated by General Officer Commanding Dagger Division, Major General Manoj Joshi, VSM in presence of esteemed guests Mr L S Chandrashekhar, Mr Malhar Patekar and Mr Ganesh Thorat. The event highlighted a shared vision of strengthening educational infrastructure and community development.

The Gajanan Foundation has been widely recognized for its consistent efforts in supporting communities across Jammu and Kashmir, contributing to education, welfare, and social upliftment initiatives. Their continued dedication to empowering underserved populations has made a meaningful impact in improving lives across the region.

Designed to benefit around 600 students, the Kaman Learning Center provides access to essential computer education and digital tools. It aims to bridge the digital divide and equip students with skills vital for academic growth and future opportunities.

This initiative underscores the Indian Army’s ongoing efforts to contribute to nation-building through community outreach. In partnership with the Gajanan Foundation, the project reflects a collaborative approach to empowering youth and fostering long-term development in the Uri region.(JKNS)
