Baramulla, Apr 12 (JKNS): Adbi Markaz Kamraz J&K has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise of the father of noted poet and critic Sufi Showkat, who is also the President of its unit, Literary Forum Bandipora.
In a condolence message, President of AMK, Mohammad Amin Bhat, described the deceased as a dignified, principled and noble personality whose life was adorned with wisdom, knowledge and high human values. He stated that the passing of such a person is not only a loss to the bereaved family but also an irreparable loss to literary and intellectual circles.
He further said that Adbi Markaz Kamraz stands in complete solidarity with Sufi Showkat and his family in this hour of grief and shares their sorrow. He prayed that Almighty Allah grants the departed soul the highest place in Jannah and bestows patience and strength upon the bereaved family, especially Sufi Showkat.
Other office bearers and members of the organisation also expressed heartfelt condolences and extended their full support and sympathy to the grieving family. (JKNS)
