Srinagar, Apr 26 (JKNS): A woman died while a man sustained injuries after a car skidded off the road and plunged into a deep nallah near Zinpanchal area of Charar-i-Sharief on Sunday, officials said.
Officials told news agency JKNS that the driver lost control over the vehicle, resulting in the accident. The woman, who was travelling in the car, sustained critical injuries and died on the spot.
The injured driver was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment and was later referred to a Srinagar hospital for specialized care.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and further investigation is underway. (JKNS)
