The campaign aimed to educate the public about the harmful effects of drug abuse and to promote a healthy, drug-free lifestyle. The event saw active community engagement, reflecting a strong collective resolve to combat substance abuse in the region.

As part of the programme, an Art and Painting Competition was organized at Government High School (GHS) Parada, where students showcased their creativity on anti-drug themes. The top three participants were felicitated for their outstanding performances. Additionally, an outreach session featured informative lectures delivered by two students of GHS Parada, highlighting the importance of awareness and prevention.

The event also included impactful speeches by prominent speakers, including Molvi Basharat, Engineer Mohd Safi, former BDC member Mrs Nasida Bano, the Sub-Inspector of Police Post Tadd, and the Company Commander Rakhi. The speakers emphasized the urgent need for community vigilance and collective responsibility in eradicating drug abuse.

A rally was organized as part of the campaign, during which participants raised powerful slogans such as “Say No to Drugs, Yes to Life!” and “Drug-Free Future, Our Commitment!”, reinforcing the message of the initiative.

A total of 211 individuals participated in the programme, including 36 veterans, 74 youth, 4 civil and military officers, local residents, and 85 students from GHS Parada.
