Srinagar, May 13 (JKNS): The Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) Kashmir on Wednesday arrested a drug peddler and recovered 265 grams of heroin-like substance during an operation in Chanapora area of Srinagar, officials said.
As per. Ews agency JKNS, The accused has been identified as Shakeel Ahmad Bhat, a resident of Karnah in Kupwara district, who was allegedly apprehended while attempting to supply the contraband substance in the area.
Officials said a case under relevant sections of the NDPS Act has been registered and further investigation has been initiated to ascertain forward and backward linkages of the narcotics network. (JKNS)
