Kupwara, May 15 (JKNS): The Karnah Volleyball League Season II concluded on a high note with enthusiasm, sportsmanship and active participation from youth across the Karnah sector.
The tournament was organised by the Indian Army under OpBuniyaad with the aim of promoting unity, healthy competition and youth engagement in the border region along the Line of Control (LoC).
The week long sporting event witnessed thrilling matches and overwhelming public support, bringing together talented volleyball teams from different areas of Karnah. The grand finale turned into a nail-biting contest, where Team Karnah Volleyball Club emerged victorious and lifted the championship trophy after an intense performance on the court.
The event served as a platform to encourage the youth towards positive activities, teamwork and discipline through sports. Local residents appreciated the initiative and praised the efforts made towards strengthening the bond between the Army and the local population.
Officials stated that such sporting activities not only nurture talent but also promote peace, harmony and mutual trust among the youth of the region. The successful conduct of the tournament reflects the growing spirit of unity and aspiration among the people of Karnah.
