Srinagar, May 18 (JKNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday conducted an on-site inspection of the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board’s Yatri Niwas at Pantha Chowk and reviewed the ongoing construction works and arrangements being put in place for pilgrims ahead of the annual Amarnath Yatra.
As per news agency JKNS, the Lieutenant Governor Sinha assessed the status of infrastructure development and pilgrim facilities during the visit.
The LG directed officials concerned to fast-track all pending works and ensure their timely completion before commencement of the Yatra so that devotees are provided better facilities and smooth arrangements during the pilgrimage.
In a post on X, office of J&K LG wrote, “Today, conducted on-site inspection of Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board’s Yatri Niwas at Pantha Chowk and reviewed the ongoing construction works & pilgrim facilities. Directed officials to fast-track outstanding works and secure their timely completion before the Yatra.” (JKNS)
