Hanoi, May 19 (JKNS): India and Vietnam on Monday further strengthened their growing defence and strategic partnership as Defence Minister Rajnath Singh held a productive bilateral meeting with Vietnamese Defence Minister Gen. Phan Van Giang in Vietnam.
During the meeting, both sides reviewed the expanding India-Vietnam defence cooperation and discussed measures to further deepen collaboration in maritime security, defence industry, military training and regional stability.
According to the post DM Rajnath as per news agency JKNS said, “Held a productive bilateral meeting with Gen. Phan Van Giang, Defence Minister of Vietnam. We reviewed the growing India-Vietnam defence partnership and discussed ways to further deepen cooperation in maritime security, defence industry, training and regional stability. India remains committed to strengthening its Enhanced Comprehensive Strategic Partnership with Vietnam.”
“Jointly inaugurated Language Lab established at Air Force Officers College, Vietnam. Glad that both sides also exchanged an MoU in the field of AI and quantum technology, marking another important step in our Enhanced Comprehensive Strategic Partnership,” post reads. (JKNS)
