Srinagar, May 19 (JKNS): A private worker sustained critical injuries after reportedly receiving an electric shock followed by a fall from height while installing a high tension (HT) cable in Sebdan area of Budgam on Tuesday.
An official told news agency JKNS, the injured identified, 31-year-old, resident of Kazi Mohalla, Shonglipora Drung Budgam, was initially brought to District Hospital Budgam before being referred to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for advanced treatment.
They said the worker suffered a severe electric shock during HT cable installation work, which led to a fall from height, resulting in multiple injuries. His condition is stated to be critical.
Cognizance of the incident has been taken and further investigation initiated. (JKNS)
