Kulgam, May 21 (JKNS): Senior Superintendent of Police Kulgam Anayat Ali Choudhary on Thursday completed his self-enumeration process under the ongoing Census 2027 initiative and appealed to the people of the district to actively participate in the nationwide exercise through the official online portal.
As per details available with news agency JKNS, awareness programmes regarding Census 2027 were also conducted at District Police Lines (DPL) Kulgam and various police stations across the district with active participation of police officers and officials.
During the programme, police personnel were sensitised about the importance of the census process and encouraged to spread awareness among the general public regarding online self-enumeration.
SSP Kulgam urged citizens to actively join the self-enumeration drive by registering through the official portal se.census.gov.in, stating that public participation is essential for the successful conduct of Census 2027.
Police officials said the awareness initiatives are aimed at ensuring maximum public outreach and encouraging people to complete the process smoothly and efficiently. (JKNS)
