Srinagar, June 3 (JKNS): A 35-year-old man was rescued and revived by CRPF personnel after he was found unconscious in the Zakura area of Srinagar on Wednesday, officials said.
As per details available with news agency JKNS, the man, identified as Altaf, a resident of Srinagar, was found lying unconscious near Zakura.
Officials said a patrol team of the 28 Battalion CRPF, led by SI/GD Rajesh Kumar, immediately rushed to assist the man and administered emergency medical aid, including Sorbitrate and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
The timely intervention helped revive the man, following which he was shifted to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Hazratbal (Habak) for further medical examination and treatment.
Doctors at the hospital later declared him fit, officials said.
The swift response of the CRPF personnel was widely appreciated for helping save the life of the civilian. (JKNS)
