Karnah, Jun 7 (JKNS): RoshanKal Welfare Foundation held a meeting of its Board of Directors today to discuss and approve the restructuring of the Foundation’s executive and management framework. The meeting was chaired by Dr. A.R. Lone, Managing Director and Chairman of the Board of Directors, along with Anjum Saleem, Director of the Foundation.

 

During the meeting, the Board approved the formation of a new Executive Management Team aimed at strengthening the Foundation’s organizational structure and enhancing its ability to serve the community more effectively. The newly constituted Executive Team includes Mr. Ashfaq Ahmad Mir as Programme Manager, Mrs. Salma Saleem as Finance & Accounts Officer, Mr. Waqar Ahmad as Monitoring & Evaluation Officer, Ms. Snober Bashir as Communication Officer, Mr. Mohammad Umer Chack as Public Relations Officer, and Mr. Ishtiaq Ahmad as Volunteer Coordinator.

 

The Board also approved the establishment of an Advisory Board to provide strategic guidance and expert recommendations for the Foundation’s future initiatives. Senior journalist Peerzada Sayeed has been appointed as Chairman of the Advisory Board.

 

The Executive Team held detailed discussions on the Foundation’s future action plan and outlined several initiatives aimed at promoting education, social awareness, youth engagement, environmental sustainability, and community development across Karnah.

 

The Foundation announced that it will soon launch a series of awareness campaigns, educational and cultural competitions, sports events, skill-development programmes, and other community-based initiatives to encourage public participation and contribute to the overall development of the region.

 

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. A.R. Lone emphasized the importance of teamwork, transparency, accountability, and community participation in achieving the Foundation’s objectives and reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to serving the people of Karnah through meaningful and impactful initiatives.
