JKEEGA Constitutes Executive Council for 2026–28 Term

Srinagar, Jun 8 (JKNS): The Jammu & Kashmir Electrical Engineering Graduates Association (JKEEGA) has constituted its Executive Council for the term 2026–28 following the recently concluded elections in which Er. Pirzada Hidayatullah was elected as General Secretary.

The newly constituted Executive Council comprises:

Er. Fayaz Ahmad Wani – Senior Vice President

Er. Mohammad Ishaq Bhat – Vice President

Er. Hur-e-Yasrab – Vice President

Er. Mohammad Irshad Wani – Publicity & Finance Secretary

Er. Tufail Ahmad Khan – Joint Secretary

Er. Farhan Manzoor Shah – Provincial Secretary

Er. Zahoor Ahmad Bakshi – Organizing Secretary

Er. Bhopinder Singh Raina – Secretary Legal Affairs

Er. Irshad Ahmad Khan – Secretary Grievance Redressal

Er. Sheikh Asif Iqbal – Secretary HRM

Er. Deeraj Bhat – Secretary IT

Er. Aamir Amin Masoodi – Cashier-cum-Treasurer

Er. Khurram Nazir – Secretary Women Affairs

Er. Yaver Fayaz Bhat – Secretary Coordination

Er. Mubashir Ul Zaman – Secretary Membership Drive

General Secretary Er. Pirzada Hidayatullah expressed confidence in the newly elected team and stated that the Council would work collectively to safeguard the interests of engineers, strengthen the Association, address service-related issues, and promote professional growth within the engineering fraternity.

The Executive Council has reaffirmed its commitment to organizational unity, member welfare, capacity building, effective grievance redressal, membership expansion, and constructive engagement with stakeholders in the power sector.

The notification constituting the Executive Council has been circulated to senior government and power sector functionaries for information and coordination. (JKNS)
