Pedestrian Critically Injured After Being Hit by Alto in Bandipora

Srinagar, Jun 15 (JKNS): A man sustained critical injuries after being hit by an Alto car while crossing a road in the Wangipora area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district, officials said on Monday.

Reports reaching news agency JKNS that the accident occurred when an Alto vehicle struck the pedestrian while he was crossing the road at Wangipora, resulting in multiple injuries.

The injured man was initially shifted to JVC Hospital Bemina for treatment and was later referred to SKIMS Soura for advanced medical care.

Hospital sources said the injured person is undergoing treatment at SKIMS and his condition remains critical.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognisance of the incident and further investigation is underway. (JKNS)
