Srinagar, June 23 (JKNS): A 17-year-old boy was found dead inside his residence in the Noorbagh area of Srinagar, officials said on Tuesday.
Official sources told news agency JKNS that the teenager, identified 17-year-old, a resident of, Noorbagh, was found hanging inside a room at his home.
He was immediately rushed to SMHS hospital in Srinagar where doctors examined the boy and declared him brought dead on arrival.
The boy was found hanging inside his room at the residence, sources said.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated further proceedings to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the death. (JKNS)
