JKNS: Soon ‘BPL Scam’ will fall as an axe on the corrupt politicians and bureaucrats: Dr Darakhshan Andrabi*
Srinagar December 08 : BJP Spokesperson and senior party leader Dr Darakhshan Andrabi today organized a Public Contact Programme at Anantnag where many public delegations from Anantnag and Kulgam districts met Dr Andrabi. She also convened election meetings in the area. Dr Andrabi conversed with people regarding BJP’s public development mission. She explained the benefits of flagship schemes of the Modi government and asked people to vote for BJP for overall upliftment of their lives. Dr Andrabi in her public contact programmes listened to public grievances and assured the people about the redressal of the issues. Later she spoke to the media and shared her views. Dr Andrabi said that the rural population in J&K has been looted by the BPL scam. “There are large scale irregularities in BPL registration and the undeserving people are getting the benefits of BPL cards while a majority of the real BPL are left out of the lists prepared by earlier governments. This has been done to illegally benefit the political workers,” said Dr Andrabi. She said that the BPL scam will be unearthed soon. “It is not a small fraud, it is a big scam. The loot of hundreds of crores of rupees will axe the fraudster politicians and bureaucrats involved in it,” said Dr Darakhshan. Dr Andrabi said that she will fight for the inquiry into the issue soon. She said as a public figure, she travels to all parts of J&K and everywhere people present hundreds of examples of the irregularity in BPL lists and the benefits of BPL to the rich and politically connected influential
