Anantnag, June 30 (JKNS): A man lost his life after slipping from a higher terrain in the forest area of Chakoora, Daksum, in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Tuesday, officials said.
Officials told news agency JKNS said that the deceased has been identified as Basheer Ahmad Deader, son of Jalal-u-Din Deader, a resident of Chakoora.
He slipped from a higher terrain during the daytime while in the forest area, resulting in his death on the spot.
Soon after the incident, police, along with local residents, reached the spot and recovered the body.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated further proceedings. (JKNS)
