Srinagar, July 17 (JKNS): Two students from Jammu and Kashmir have secured places in the National Testing Agency’s (NTA) official state-wise toppers’ list for the NEET-UG 2026 examination, with Hadiya Nisar emerging as the highest-ranked candidate from the Union Territory.
According to official documents, a copy of which lies with news agency JKNS, Hadiya Nisar secured All India Rank (AIR) 99 with a 99.9931 percentile, making her the top-ranked candidate from Jammu and Kashmir.
Another candidate from the Union Territory, Zaidan Wani, secured AIR 124, also with a 99.9931 percentile, earning a place in the official state-wise toppers’ list.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) declared the NEET-UG 2026 results on Thursday along with the list of top-performing candidates from every state and Union Territory.
The official state-wise toppers’ list identifies the highest-performing candidates from each state and Union Territory based on their NEET-UG 2026 performance.
Hadiya Nisar and Zaidan Wani are the only candidates from Jammu and Kashmir to feature in the NTA’s official state-wise toppers’ list this year. (JKNS)
