Bandipora, Aug 5 (JKNS): The two-day District Bandipora Cycle Polo Championship 2026-27 concluded today at Naidkah Playfield, Bandipora, with the participation of more than 100 boys and girls across the AAG categories.
The championship saw keen competition over both days, with young cyclists representing teams from across the district.
Ulfat Bano, Football Mentor, Khelo India Centre (J&K Sports Council), was the Chief Guest on the occasion. The President, District Bandipora Cycle Polo Association, along with Nisar Ahmad, Syed Aijaz and Hilal Ahmad Dar, attended as Guests of Honour.
In the Boys Category, Naidkah Club won the Gold Medal, Noor Ul Elahi took Silver and Manzpora Strikers finished with Bronze.
In the Girls Category, Manzpora Team won Gold, Naidkah Club took Silver and Sumbal Team finished with Bronze.
The championship was organised by the District Bandipora Cycle Polo Association under the aegis of the J&K Cycle Polo Association and sponsored by the J&K Sports Council.
Winners were presented medals and certificates by the Chief Guest and Guests of Honour at the closing ceremony. (JKNS)
