Samba, Aug 25 (JKNS): One person was killed and three others injured after a flyover under construction collapsed in the Jakh area of Vijaypur in Samba district on Tuesday, officials said.
An official told news agency JKNS that the incident occurred when the structure gave way during ongoing construction work.
The injured were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment. Their condition was not immediately known.
Police and other concerned authorities have initiated proceedings to ascertain the circumstances leading to the collapse.
