Rajouri, Aug 28 (JKNS): The Indian Army on Friday foiled an alleged Pakistani drone intrusion along the Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri district, with troops forcing three drones to retreat after detecting their movement near Nowshera.

Officials told news agency JKNS that, three drones crossed into Indian airspace near Rumlidhara in the Nowshera sector during the intervening hours.

Alert troops detected the aerial movement, following which counter-drone systems were immediately activated to neutralise the threat.

The swift response forced all three drones to retreat across the Line of Control, officials said.

A search operation has also been launched in the area as a precautionary measure to rule out any suspicious activity or material being dropped by the drones. (JKNS)
