GANDERBAL, DECEMBER 17: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Ganderbal, Shafqat Iqbal today chaired a meeting of Revenue Department to review progress on writing of Jamabandies in the district.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Farooq Ahmad Baba, ACR, Baseer Ahmad, all Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars, Girdawars and Patwaris.
During the meeting ACR, briefed the DDC about the progress of writing of Jamabandies of all villages of the district and informed the Chair that out of 136 Jammabandies, 131 jammabandies have been completed.
Taking a strong note regarding the completion of pending Jamabandies, the DDC directed the ACR to initiate stern action as per rules against those officials who have failed to achieve the target and fix responsibility on other officials so that pending Jamabandies are completed at an earliest.
Meanwhile, the DDC also expressed satisfaction and complimented the revenue officers for their sustained efforts in completing the writing of Jamabandies of most villages in the district and directed the concerned to expedite the process of writing of Jamabandies for pending villages to complete the process within stipulated time.
