Bandipora, Aug 28 (JKNS): The Grand rally was organised today in the Mukdamyari area of Bandipora district to commemorate Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ, with thousands of people participating in the event.
The Rally was led by the Patron-in-Chief of Darul Uloom Razviya Hanfiya Mujaddidiya, Molana Shaykh Wali Mohammad Rizvi, scholars and preachers associated with the institution also participated in the rally.
Thousands of devotees carrying flags took part in the Rally and raised slogans in praise of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, creating a spiritually charged atmosphere in the area.
Speaking to the media, Molana Shaykh Wali Mohammad Rizvi said the main objective of organising the rally was to spread the teachings, message and guidance of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ among the people and encourage them to follow his teachings in their lives.
He also appreciated Lieutenant Governor and the Jammu and Kashmir Police for their efforts under the Nasha Mukt Abhiyan, describing it as a positive and welcome step. He said collective efforts are needed to protect the younger generation from the menace of drugs. (JKNS)
