Srinagar, Sept 6 (JKNS): The much-awaited final of the Dalgate Premier League (DPL) was played between KG Arts and Royal Punjabi Rasoi, in a thrilling contest that kept the spectators on the edge of their seats.
Royal Punjabi Rasoi, batting first, posted a challenging total of 169 runs, with Ishfaq Shah playing a brilliant innings of 80 runs.
In reply, it was a nail-biting contest as KG Arts fought hard, but Royal Punjabi Rasoi kept their nerves under pressure. In the end, Gowher Rashid produced a brilliant match-winning innings of 67 runs, guiding Royal Punjabi Rasoi to victory and the DPL title.
On the final occasion, Chief Guest Iltija Mufti and Special Guest Waheed Rahman Para presented awards and honours to the guests of honour, as well as the winning and losing teams.
