Budgam, Sept 6 (JKNS): A 48-year-old man died after falling from the second floor of an under-construction house in Kralpora area of Chadoora in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Sunday, officials said.
Officials told news agency JKNS that, the deceased has been identified as Raya Ahmad Sofi, son of Ab Rahman, a resident of Chakpora Kalan, Chadoora.
He was initially shifted to Bone and Joint Hospital, Barzulla, Srinagar, in critical condition following the incident. However, he later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital, officials said.
Police have initiated proceedings to ascertain the circumstances leading to the incident. (JKNS)
