Vehicle Hits SHO Bijbehara While On Duty, Injured, Hospitalised

Srinagar, Sept 13 (JKNS): Station House Officer (SHO) of Police Station Bijbehara was injured after a vehicle hit him while he was on duty near the police station on Sunday, officials said.

An official told news agency JKNS that the SHO was immediately shifted to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Bijbehara, where he received initial treatment.

He was subsequently referred to Bone and Joint Hospital, Srinagar, for further treatment. The officer was identified as Majid Ahmad Khan.

Meanwhile, cognizance has been taken and a hunt is on to trace the vehicle. (JKNS)
