Budgam, October 3: A colourful and impressive Annual Day Function was organised at Middle School Hardapanzoo, with the event being hosted by Head of Institution Jamsheed Ahmad Banday along with his dedicated teaching and non-teaching staff, under the guidance and supervision of Zonal Education Officer Hardapanzoo, G. R. Nasir.
Students from various schools of Zone Hardapanzoo participated enthusiastically in the programme and showcased their talent, creativity and academic and co-curricular achievements through beautifully arranged stalls, cultural programmes and various educational activities.
The programme was inaugurated by Hon’ble MLA Khansahib, Advocate Saif Ud Din Bhat, who graced the occasion as the chief guest. The proceedings of the programme were conducted by Resource Person Riyaz Ahmad Rather, while the event was coordinated by Zonal Cultural Coordinator (ZCC) Hardapanzoo, Shaheen Kausar Ahmad.
A large number of parents, students, teachers and members of the local community participated in the event, adding to its vibrancy and significance. The active participation of parents further strengthened the bond between schools, parents and the community.
Addressing the gathering, chief guest Advocate Saif Ud Din Bhat appreciated the initiative undertaken by the Zonal Education Officer, Hardapanzoo. He also lauded the efforts of Head of Institution Jamsheed Ahmad Banday and his staff, along with the teachers and students of the participating schools.
During the programme, certificates of appreciation were distributed among students who demonstrated outstanding performance in academics and various co-curricular activities.
The chief guest also appreciated the enthusiastic participation of parents and students, observing that such programmes provide children with valuable platforms to showcase their talent, creativity, confidence and cultural skills.
He further appreciated the role of media personnel in highlighting educational and co-curricular activities and bringing such positive initiatives to the wider public.
The successful conduct of the Annual Day Function reflected the collective efforts of the Education Department, school administration, teachers, students, parents and the local community.
