Karnah, October 8, 2026: Roshankal Welfare Foundation today held an important meeting of its Executive Body in Karnah to review organisational matters, ongoing activities and upcoming programmes of the Foundation.
Roshankal Welfare Foundation is a non-governmental organisation registered under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs in accordance with the Companies Act, 2013. The Foundation is working in various fields including education, healthcare, community welfare, women and youth empowerment, environment, and other social-development initiatives.
The meeting was attended by both Directors of the Foundation, Dr. Ashfaq Ahmad Lone and Anjum Saleem, along with other members and office bearers.
During the meeting, the Executive Body welcomed two new members who have joined the Foundation in key voluntary positions. Ubaid Ayoub has joined as Project Manager, while Zahoor Ahmad Lone has joined as Field Coordinator. Both will discharge their responsibilities on a voluntary basis.
The Foundation also discussed its upcoming programmes and organisational responsibilities. Ashfaq Ahmad Mir, Programming Manager, will coordinate and manage the upcoming programming activities of the Foundation, while Salma Saleem, Finance & Accounts Officer, will oversee financial and accounts-related matters.
Snober Bashir, Social Welfare & Outreach Coordinator, will coordinate the Foundation’s social welfare and outreach activities, while Omar Chuk, Public Relations Officer, will look after public relations and communication-related responsibilities. Salma Saleem, Finance & Accounts Officer, was also present during the meeting.
A major decision taken during the meeting was to organise the “Raah-e-Roshan Conference 2026” in Karnah on November 1, 2026. The conference will bring together schools, Madrasas and other educational institutions from across Karnah on a common platform.
Students from participating institutions will get an opportunity to take part in various educational, intellectual and creative competitions and showcase their talent. The initiative aims to encourage healthy competition, confidence-building, creativity, mutual learning and meaningful interaction among students from different educational institutions.
The Foundation stated that the detailed programme schedule, competition categories, participation guidelines and other information regarding the conference will be shared shortly.
The Executive Body also welcomed the newly appointed members and expressed confidence that their participation and voluntary contribution would further strengthen the Foundation’s community-oriented and developmental initiatives.
Roshankal Welfare Foundation has appealed to educational institutions, teachers, students and community members across Karnah to actively participate in and extend their support to the Raah-e-Roshan Conference 2026 and other upcoming initiatives of the Foundation.
