Residents protest as water shortage strikes Pulwama village

Image may contain: 9 people, people standing and outdoorPulwama, Dec 25: The residents of Tali Mohalla of Rahmoo in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on friday Staged a protest against acute water shortage in the village from past 02 weeks.
While talking to media, the protesters said we have been without water for the last two weeks and every time when we call Jal Shakti officials they say we have been transferred.
“We have to travel up to one kilometer to fetch water.” They said.
The protestors blocked the vehicular movement also, which was restored later
They appealed higher authority to look into the matter and later the protest ended peacefully.
