Srinagar, Oct 12 (JKNS): A young man was killed while his father sustained injuries after a dumper collided with a Chhota Hathi vehicle near 10 Sector at Hyderbeigh, Pattan, on Monday.
Reports reaching news agency JKNS stated that, the dumper was driven by Mohd Amin Khan, son of Gh Nabi Khan, a resident of Zafron Colony, Srinagar, while the Chhota Hathi was driven by Murtaza Shabir Bhat, son of Shabir Ahmad Bhat, a resident of Bijbehara, Anantnag.
Both Murtaza Shabir Bhat and his father, Shabir Ahmad Bhat, sustained injuries and were shifted to Trauma Hospital Pattan for treatment.
However, doctors declared Murtaza dead on arrival, while his father was referred to JVC Srinagar for advanced treatment.
Police Post Palhallan has registered a case and initiated an investigation into the incident. (JKNS)
