Jammu, Oct 17 (JKNS): BJP State Executive Member, J&K UT, and District In-charge Panchayat Raj Election Ganderbal, Mohammad Amin Shah, called on BJP Jammu and Kashmir President and Rajya Sabha Member Sat Paul Sharma, CA, and discussed several issues concerning Ganderbal district, with particular emphasis on public grievances related to pending electricity bills and the disconnection of power supply.

During the meeting, Shah sought intervention to address the difficulties faced by electricity consumers across Ganderbal district who are struggling to clear their outstanding dues. He urged the BJP leadership to take up the matter with the concerned authorities and advocate for an amnesty scheme for eligible consumers, providing relief to affected households and facilitating the restoration of disconnected electricity connections.

Shah highlighted the financial difficulties faced by many families and stressed the need for a considerate approach towards consumers burdened by pending bills. He called for a practical relief mechanism that would enable eligible households to settle their dues while addressing their immediate electricity-related concerns.
