Srinagar, October 18: In recognition of his achievements in sports, the portrait of international soft tennis athlete and national medalist Mohammad Qais was displayed today at Gindun Tennis Courts, Rajbagh.
The initiative was undertaken by officials of the J&K Sports Council in collaboration with the J&K Amateur Soft Tennis Association, highlighting the achievements of a sportsperson who has represented the region at national and international levels.
The display of Qais’s portrait serves as a tribute to his sporting accomplishments and is expected to inspire aspiring players to pursue excellence in soft tennis.
The initiative also underscores the importance of recognising local sporting talent and encouraging young athletes to bring laurels to Jammu and Kashmir.
