According to an order issued by the Chief Executive Officer, Municipal Council Sopore, two teams have been constituted for day and night duties for a period of 10 days with effect from October 22, 2026. As per the order, Team A will perform duties from 9 am to 4 pm, while Team B will remain on duty from 4 pm to 11 pm. Additional employees have also been assigned to assist the day team.

The order further directs that vendors and roadside sellers shall not display or place their goods on footpaths and roadside strips from October 23 for the next 10 days, particularly along the stretch from Mother and Child Hospital via Iqbal Market and Bus Stand Road up to Sub-District Hospital Sopore, as well as near Chankhan Bridge Market.

The vendors have been directed to shift their business activities to the Shallapora side during the period to prevent obstruction and facilitate traffic movement.
