Srinagar, Oct 28 (JKNS): Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader Iltija Mufti has alleged that Kashmiri students are being denied Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) certificates, calling it a “merit massacre” and accusing the National Conference-led government of indifference.
In a post on X, as per news agency JKNS, Iltija said that rightful candidates from Kashmir were being rejected on what she described as frivolous grounds.
She urged applicants who had applied for EWS certificates but were denied them to get in touch with her.
The PDP leader’s remarks come amid concerns over the issuance of EWS certificates and their implications for eligible students from the region. (JKNS)
