Role of digitalization in Pharmaceutical Sciences during Covid 19 Pandemic discussed in Aryans Webinar.Pharma Expert Dr. Ajay Bilandi discussed the topic at length

Srinagar 2nd Jan:Aryans Pharmacy College organized a webinar on “Role of digitalization in Pharmaceutical Sciences during Covid 19 Pandemic”. Dr. Ajay Bilandi, Pharma Expert interacted with faculty members & the students of B. Pharmacy & D. Pharmacy of Aryans Pharmacy College and Aryans College of Pharmacy. Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group presided over the webinar.

Dr. Bilandi while interacting with students said that the pharma industry has played a vital part in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic by supplying life-saving drugs. However, the pandemic has also posed severe challenges to the drug makers. The digital technologies are transforming the pharma industry and offering a way out of the crisis, he said.


He further stated that the average research and development intensity of digital leaders in India’s pharma manufacturing sector is 2.7%, which is significantly higher than the average intensity of digital followers (at 1.3%). He explained about new normalin pharmaceutical sciences and patient care, keeping in mind the situation of Covid-19 pandemic.

Dr. Bilandi explained the various digital findings of Alpha Fold system by artificial intelligence, interactive covid-19 map by Microsoft Bing, Artificial Intelligence in clinical trials and elaborated change in patient care. Mr. Krishna Singla, Principal, Aryans Pharmacy College & convener of the event extended vote of thanks.
