DDC Kicks starts Multi Sports Event at Budgam

BUDGAM, JANUARY 03: District Development Commissioner BudgamShahbaz Ahmed Mirza today kick started the District Premier League for Multi sports events jointly organized by J&K Sports Council and association of respective games consisting of events of Football, Volleyball ,Hockey and Kabaddi to be culminated in a week’s time.

On the occasion, DDC was briefed that this year Premier league will be played under four sports events and from next year 8 different types of sports events shall be added on the same pattern across the District.

Hailing organizers, he said such events provide ample opportunity for enthusiastic youth to develop their confidence and showcase their talent and to prove their mettle at bigger platforms in future.
