No case in Jammu from past 3 days
Srinagar, April 18: Atleast 13 people were tested positive for coronavirus infection on Saturday in Kashmir, while no case was reported in Jammu region from past 3 days, officials said.J&K Government Spokesman, Rohit Kansal said 13 new cases were reported on Saturday in Kashmir, taking the number positive cases in JK Union Territory to 341.”No new cases from Jammu divison, 13 from Kashmir, total positive cases in JK now 341 (54 in Jammu and 287 in Kashmir, ”Kansal tweeted.Till Friday, 59205 travellers and persons in contact with suspected cases have been put under surveillance.“7631 persons in-home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 281 in Hospital Isolation, 260 in hospital Quarantine and 27366 under home surveillance,” they said.The first case of Covid-19 in the J&K was reported on March 9 and the death toll in Jammu and Kashmir is at five with one patient in Jammu division and four in Kashmir.(JKNS)
