Srinagar, April 19: The residents of Aali Masjid Eidgah expressed resentment against the Power Development Department (PDD) for failing to repair Low Tension (LT) wire in the area, posing threat to locals.A local Asif Majeed told JKNS that tangling LT wire has endangered the lives of people in the area as concerned authorities have failed to look into the issue.“Despite repeated pleas to PDD officials from Saturday, things have remained unchanged on the ground. The road is leading SKIMS hospital and if admin fails it can prove dangerous in the area,” he said.Another resident, Abas Ali told JKNS that PDD has failed to resolve the matter from past 28 hours. The wire is dangling and it seems no one is bothered about the situation.An official at PDD department they have directed their teams to repair the LT in the area and within no time the issue would be resolved.
